Renewable Energy and a Just Transition
The Renewable Energy campaign through its piloted projects has attempted to showcase the effectiveness of renewable energy technologies. It has used this as an educational tool within disadvantaged communities, demonstrating that i.e. solar is clean, safe and easy to install and, leads to major cost savings. Women Energy and Climate Change Forum members help maintain the project sites which also include an on-site biodigester and water harvesting tanks linked to the gardens
Renewable Energy
